This is Carter Emmart.
He has a collection of over 400 Barbie dolls.
I'm a Barbie girl in the Barbie world.
My parents wouldn't let me have a G.I. Joe
because it was a doll.
So now you're kind of sticking it
to your parents in a way, right?
Well, my parents wouldn't give me any dolls either,
but they were willing to give me
a series of paralyzing neuroses.
Look at this.
400 expressionless faces.
It's like any night for me at a comedy club.
Next, I met Judith Schwartz,
a renowned antiques collector.
The heyday of American -- of costume jewelry
was in the 1950s.
And the world center of costume jewelry
was in Providence, Rhode Island, and New York City.
I'm sorry, I dozed off during the explanation.
What were we talking about?
Handmade German marbles from the 19th century.
The Germans made a lot of toys?
They did.
The toys in the pre-World War II.
A lot of interesting toys came out of Germany.
Is that because they're known as being so fun-loving?
Stuart Ferlinger has an impressive collection
of sports memorabilia.
I'm very excited.
I'm a collector myself.
Collector of what?
Laughs.
What does the term mint-conditioned mean?
Perfect, perfect condition, probably not touched by human hands.
I just want to say to you, as one man to another, that I am in mint condition
sexually.
I have been untouched by human hands.
I'm sorry for you.
I'm not embarrassed to say that you have nice balls.
Also, I enjoy these, as well.
The largest private collection of Elvis memorabilia outside Graceland is owned
by Russ Howe and Tom Salvo.
Stop, look and listen baby.
Stop, look and listen baby.
Now, how did you get all this stuff?
Did Priscilla Presley have a yard sale?
How did it work exactly?
No, the, uh, a lot of my items I got from, uh, Sonny West who became a real
close personal friend of mine.
That, and just in case you were wondering, that was one of my ideas of a joke
there.
But I was going, I was like, what did Priscilla Presley have a yard sale?
I wish.
And I would have, and I would have thought at that point, huge laugh from you
guys.
America, which one is me, and which one is Elvis?
I'm just a rastafal, shifting from town to town.
You're on a date, you're bringing your, your lady back for the first evening.
You might have some explaining to do.
Oh, these 400 Barbies?
I'm just going to bring them over to my 400 niece's house.
This is Andrew Katrina.
He's collected every toothbrush he's ever owned.
Andrew?
Yes.
This is the worst collection I've ever seen in my entire life.
Please tell me you don't collect used toothbrushes.
I do not collect used toothbrushes.
Oh.
Shouldn't they be called teeth brush, though?
What are you, Jerry Seinfeld all of a sudden?
Why do they call them toothbrushes?
Shouldn't they be called teeth brushes?
You use them for more than one tooth, don't you?
You guys in a darkened room with 400 Barbies around us.
This is, this is, um, this is some crazy , am I right?
Well, you can listen to it, baby.
