It's a very special night. I'm a little nervous. Are you a little nervous?
I'm excited.
This is something we've been planning now for quite some time, and tonight is
the beginning.
You folks are in on the ground floor, so to speak, of something we believe is
going to be terribly exciting,
terribly exhilarating, terribly satisfying, terribly rewarding.
Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, is the beginning of the Coast to Coast tour with
Mooji Burr and Syrah George.
All right. Now, if perhaps you're joining us for the first time tonight and you
have no idea who these two people are,
Mooji Burr and Syrah George are our neighbors, and I think we discovered them.
We met them maybe the first or second night we were in this lovely theater.
They own a store just up the road here on Broadway.
In fact, let's go say hi to them now.
Hal, do me a favor, turn on the old external camera.
Here we go, ladies and gentlemen. There's Broadway heading north.
There's the pub. There's the pizza place.
There's a man who has obviously stolen something.
Get up! I'll pay the check. Go on home. Thank you.
And we're going into a store called K&L's Rock America, where we will find Mooji
Burr and Syrah George.
There they are. Hi, man.
Okay.
Can you guys hear me?
No.
Now, tonight is the night. You're leaving.
I hope you're all packed. Everything is ready.
Do me a favor, before you go, run in here to the theater to say goodbye to the
folks.
Come on in as quickly as you can.
Here they go.
Mooji Burr and Syrah George.
Where are they now?
Oh, they're in the theater.
Okay.
Okay.
There they go, ladies and gentlemen. Come on in, boys.
Come on in.
Come on in.
All right.
It's real nice to see you.
You're a girl. Nice to see you as well.
Mooji Burr, Syrah George.
Let's explain to the folks just exactly what the Coast to Coast...
Excuse me.
Just exactly what is the Coast to Coast tour.
I know you're leaving tonight, and the first destination, first location is
Niagara Falls.
Yes, sir.
And then you're going to work your way across this beautiful country of ours.
By the way, have you traveled much in our country?
A little bit.
Yeah?
Well, this will be...
And you?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, well, this will be a lovely time for you guys to kind of get to know the
country.
That's right.
And you're going to end up the big tour at the Golden Gate Bridge.
That's right.
Coast to coast, all the way up.
All right, now...
All right.
Thank you very much.
Stop that.
Now, as you travel across the country, you're not just tourists.
You understand that.
You're not just on vacation.
Okay.
You are ambassadors.
You are ambassadors of this show.
Exactly.
So we want you to spread goodwill all across the country, giving my best to
each and every
person that you encounter.
A lot of people will have seen you on television.
They'll come out and they'll say, how's Dave?
And you'll say, Dave is fine.
Dave sends his best.
That kind of thing.
Yeah.
And, and also, please, no public drunkenness.
Okay?
Are you excited?
Are you ready to go?
I'm really excited.
All right.
I have some things for you.
You guys stay right there.
It's right over here.
Okay.
First of all, your tickets.
Now, you're leaving right now to go to the airport.
Do you understand that?
Okay.
There.
That's for you.
That's for you.
Of course, here's a canned ham.
You guys will fight over that.
All right.
There you go.
Thank you very much.
Take a lot of home movies.
Now, you know, we had my mom over there in Norway during the Olympics.
Did you see that?
All right.
Well, that's kind of what we're looking for.
So if you meet interesting people, you're at interesting locations, anything
you think
that we would enjoy seeing about your trip across this country, you know, slap
it on the
videotape and then show it to us.
Are you nervous?
No.
I'm very excited.
You're excited.
Very excited.
How about you?
Too much excited.
Too much excited.
Well, then maybe you better not go.
All right.
All right.
One thing.
Grab up your stuff.
I'll get you a cab because you guys are taking off tonight.
Paul, you have a credit card or something?
Oh, yes.
Yes.
I got my American Express card.
378.
Hey, come on.
All right.
Come on.
There's Paul's American Express card.
There you go.
There you go.
All right.
I'll get you a cab.
We'll be right back.
Ladies!
Come on.
Come on.
Look.
Look at the folks.
Look.
They've been out of the theater for 40 seconds.
They saved his life.
All right.
Here you go.
Okay.
Hop right in there.
Hop right in.
Be very careful.
Can you have to put that stuff in the trunk?
They're going to Kennedy.
All right.
Have a good trip.
We'll check in on you.
Thank you very much.
All right.
We have to do a commercial.
We'll be right back, folks.
Nice to have you here tonight.
And if you're just joining us, we have kicked off the Mujibur Serajul summer
tour.
They're going coast to coast.
They're on their way now.
And Hal, where are they now?
Do we have any update on them?
How's the problem?
They're on their way to the hall.
They're on their way.
Let's take a look, Hal, and see what you have there for us.
Okay, and they should be there any moment, and they will be whisked to Kennedy
Airport for their trip to Niagara Falls and then the big coast to coast.
You know, as they were coming into the theater, they were coming down Broadway,
struggling with the luggage, and you and the band were playing, I was thinking
to myself, this looks like the worst music video ever.
Oh, man, all set.
This is a great idea, having these guys travel this country of ours.
And they're going to go to, well, we're not sure where they're going, just
Niagara Falls, then the Golden Gate Bridge.
And that would be enough of a trip right there.
Because you can't ask for greater splendor that is this country than those two
locations.
And people see if you don't have a time or money to go on a vacation, you can
have your vacation vicariously through these guys.
Yeah.
It's perfect.
For me, example, I don't have any time off this summer.
No.
I'll be enjoying a vacation as I watch them travel.
Cool.
Hal, let's check in on the big coast to coast Mujibur and Surajul tour.
Let's see how they're doing so far.
They're at the heliport.
They're going to get on that helicopter and head off to Kennedy Airport.
Hey, Mujibur, Monday, Jeremy Irons will be on the show.
Mujibur, I say, Monday, Surajul, Jeremy, can you guys hear me?
Gentlemen?
Okay, good.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Jeremy Irons will be on Monday.
Yeah.
Hey, you guys are going to Kennedy Airport, right?
You're going to Kennedy?
Huh?
Hey, wait a minute.
You're not going back to Bangladesh, are you?
All right, hop right in there and we'll play some kind of heroic music as you
get in the helicopter.
Have you ever been in a helicopter before?
I'm talking to the pilot.
Thank you very much.
Let's see.
Are they going to?
Sarah Jewell?
Bye-bye.
Sarah Jewell, have you ever?
Sarah Jewell, can you?
Excuse me.
Well, apparently.
All right, there they go.
They've got them all sealed up, buttoned up.
Everybody's in.
All right.
Make sure your seat backs are in their original upright and locked position.
All right, well, the next time we see you guys, it'll be at Kennedy when you
take off for Niagara Falls.
All right.
Here we go.
Just moments away now from liftoff.
This will be terribly exciting.
Here we go.
Man, is that thrilling.
Yeah!
Yes!
Hit it!
Hit it!
Yeah!
Kind of sad, isn't it, Paul?
There they go.
On their way to the airport.
Oh, wait a minute, if you can hang on, I'm under the impression now that our
friends have arrived at the airport.
Is that right, Hal?
Turn it on.
This should be Mooji Burr and Sarah Jewell at Kennedy International Airport.
Oh, look, they've picked up a date.
They certainly look refreshed, don't they?
Yes, they're checking about two tons of luggage.
All the pants you want.
All the pants you want.
