Ladies and gentlemen, our good friend Bill Murray is with us tonight.
He's outside talking to New Yorkers about the upcoming presidential election.
Bill, take it away, buddy.
Dave, this is Paul Henderson from Long Island.
Paul, who are you going to vote for on election day?
I'm undecided.
You haven't made up your mind?
Not yet.
You know the election is November 5th and you're still undecided?
Yeah.
Well, I'll wait.
Do you have trouble making decisions?
Not usually.
But you're having trouble with this one?
I'm undecided.
Can we help you out?
Let me give you an easy one.
You want a punch in the stomach or a kick in the butt?
Punch in the stomach, hard, or a kick in the butt, pretty hard?
I don't know.
What's that over there?
See this?
That's a pretty hard kick in the butt.
You want to try to punch in the stomach?
Who are you going to vote for in the fifth?
Come on.
You want some of this?
Stay out of it.
You want some of this?
Shut off the camera.
Shut it off.
We'll do that for a second, baby.
We'll be talking to New Yorkers all on a fine job.
Let's go back out now to 53rd Street and Bill Murray talking to New York City
voters.
Bill!
Yeah, Dave.
I'm here with a guy.
What's your name?
Bob Driscoll.
East Orange, New Jersey.
Long name you got there, fella.
And who are you going to be voting for?
Bob Dole.
Bob Dole, huh?
And what's your shoe size?
11.
Yeah?
Well, I don't have an 11 here.
All I got is a 12.
Would you like to try it?
12?
Come on.
Huh?
Keep going, buddy.
You're talking.
Kind of brutal, isn't it?
Bill Murray out on 53rd Street.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you can stand it.
You can't make up your mind.
You can't make up your mind.
And yet you say you want to vote for Clinton.
No, no.
I'm serious.
I'm having a political discussion with you.
Hey, jerk.
Just the way you have to do it sometimes.
That's right.
Campaign 96 continues now with Bill Murray out there on 53rd Street.
Bill.
Dave, I got another one.
This is a gentleman named Brian Cooper.
Brian Cooper.
Where are you from, Brian?
The Upper West Side.
Who do you plan to vote for on Election Day?
That'll be President Clinton.
All right, I just want to suggest a possible alternative for you.
A fellow named Kenny.
A guy I worked with at Colonial Williamsburg at Busch Gardens.
He was a town crier down there.
Hey, Kenny.
Kenny, say hello to Brian Cooper from the Upper West Side.
Brian, say hello to the next president of the United States.
Hi, Brian.
Hi, Kenny.
Would you mind doing a little town crier for him?
Hear ye, hear ye.
Four o'clock and all is well.
Come on, Brian.
Get excited.
Get involved.
No, no.
Then get lost.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
Get out of here.
You know, for a West Side guy, you've got kind of an East Side attitude.
You know what I mean?
You know?
If you don't do something about it, the West Side...
Okay, fine.
Thank you very much.
Well, there's more trouble.
I'm swatting.
I'm swatting.
