top 10 reasons your film was not nominated for an academy award number 10
your film stars daniel day lewis but not that daniel day lewis
not that daniel i say show number nine it's entitled life of pie p-i-e
yeah well that's it
life of pie
by the way we know uh the woman who the produced the life of pie it's our
friend elizabeth gabler
and that uh film life of pie received 11 academy awards as well so
congratulations great
now you know last night we had the catherine bigelow on who was the director of
the
uh zero dark 30. she sure did nominated for best picture she was not nominated
for best director
so how do you have the best picture consideration
if it wasn't directed by the best director it doesn't make any sense it makes
no sense
it should be best director best picture directed by not the best director that
should be a
separate category they were going to that's right or
right another category best director who did not direct the best picture right
it could have been
that but because how how do you determine yeah here's the best picture oh yeah
who directed that
well it wasn't the best director yeah no but it was the best picture obviously
so bear with us
and we'll be enjoying it indicate that she was the best rib salad at zero's uh
number eight a three
minute movie demonstrates safety procedures on jetblue well that's not right
reasons your film wasn't
nominated number seven it's two hours of iphone footage inadvertently recorded
in your pocket in your
pocket in your pocket in your pants hello huh is this huh is this huh number
six film was released
straight to dumpster number five it's two hours of donald trump demanding to
see lincoln's birth certificate
oh for the love of god i am begging you apparently they don't make me come up
there and take your hats
away uh number four film was in french subtitles also in french but that makes
no sense a mistake
number three tells the story of a vomiting robot oh not this guy again oh there
he is oh please
let's enjoy every little millisecond of that whoa yeah actual vomit ladies and
gentlemen uh number two
can hear crew laughing when anyone says hitchcock hitchcock hitchcock hitchcock
hitchcock yeah that was
that was the best film it did the how was your director was your director one
of the best directors
yeah it doesn't make it how is that possible uh and the number one reason your
film uh wasn't nominated
for any more ebert gave it two middle fingers up
