now listen to this our uh first guest is a talented actress uh she stars in the
highly
anticipated new film the twilight saga eclipse it opens on wednesday please
welcome the lovely
kristen stewart are you excited about the big movie i am so excited for people
to finally see
it yes yeah how many other been this is the third one yep yeah and i was just
told uh now you're not
a vampire yourself in the movies in the movies you're not a vampire not quite
no but there's
but you you're dating a vampire i am yeah but in the next film possibility that
you could become a
vampire well i'm not spoiling it for anyone but uh yeah yeah i'm gonna i'm
gonna make the
transformation and do you you need somebody to sponsor you i guess if you yeah
i haven't thought
about that actually who do you think i don't know it's up to you i guess maybe
true blood will sponsor
us i mean awesome um how have you been everything good yeah everything's been
great we've been
everywhere we've been traveling for the traveling yeah is that fun or it just
gets old after a while
we had when you say we as a you and other cast members yeah i was with taylor
on this last one
because rob was working and uh we were able to have a lot more fun this time he's
he's that's not what
i meant that's so not what i meant that's great that's great that'll follow me
around for a while
um anyway so uh he forced he's he likes activity he's a really active guy and
uh
what is i'm at least i'm really naive i guess this is going like completely
over my head
so for example uh when you went to like australia what did you do in australia
uh we went we swam with sharks whoa yeah dangerous i thought so at the time but
we were being told
time and time again that it was completely fine to learn how to scuba dive in
10 minutes
hmm and then just don't touch the show just don't touch the sharks the sharks
but don't touch them
yeah exactly oh my goodness it's not like one of those things you imagine you
go down in a cage
in the ocean and stuff and that's just not how it was it was fun but did you
learn to scuba dive
in about 10 minutes right and that's i was more scared of going down there i
think so it can be
uncomfortable because it's it's oddly enough it's very claustrophobic did you
get that feeling
because of the mask and so forth yeah and you know i have a problem with
breathing underwater that's not
natural some people love it i just don't i don't have the vampires do vampires
breathe underwater
vampires don't breathe no oh all right so you swam with the sharks
um what else did you do on your travels we we took a um we took a boat ride
that was pretty it was a
fast boat ride he likes extreme activities and uh when when we were in berlin
he he went go-kart
racing and i went to the holocaust museum that was that was incredible for me
and uh then then we
went bowling afterwards because he was like come on come have some fun and i
was like okay um so yeah
that's that's that's i i i i uh i better not i don't i don't know uh what can
you say i mean
i mean the i oh never mind you're fine you're fine no it's it's me i should
never take weekends off
uh oh you know what i have some pictures right here and i find this hard to
believe so i'm going to assume
that there's a unbelievable story to tell you go ahead and tell us this story kristin
this is my
this is my pet this is jack uh he's our oldest male he uh i know he looks kind
of scary he's a he's a
wolf and um he's really sweet he like falls at my feet he's he's really no no
are you where did
you where do you where do you go to buy a wolf let's yeah where did you get a
wolf from florida
actually from florida well that makes sense yeah um and and and how do you know
it's a wolf because
to me it looks just like a dog how do you know it's a wolf did you get papers
they told us yeah
we got a special today on wolves
uh now is that a uh
what kind of wolf is that um i don't know what kind of wolf it is i don't know
what a wolf is is it
like a north american gray wolf or is that what it is the dark ones are
apparently european they're
wolf dogs they're like they're hybrids and uh are they safe and why why i want
to just get a dog
what i mean he's not i mean my it's it's my mom's deal and she i don't know
maybe it was like a bit
of empty nest syndrome she needed to raise more children because they really
are like hard to take
care of and she had experience before she likes them she's kind of a strange
she's awesome she's just a
little honey um yeah well that i mean i can hear people picking up their phones
right now ordering
wolves yeah don't do that that's yeah and please don't do that i mean those
that seem to be dismembered
bloody bones dinner time sorry we're out of alpo but no no no you know because
people have trouble
yeah see they're really sweet yeah but i mean sweet there she's like you know
yeah and until she gets
hungry and decides but but i cook for them they're they're feral uh animals i
mean is it legal to have
an animal like that in your house yes wolf hybrids are legal really wolf hybrids
are legal because we
don't have enough stray dogs what are you trying to do to me man i don't know
it's just i just all i
know is it there's wolf packs in yellow stone stone and they bring down herds
of elk and and they they
kill them and they chew the carcass and then they and you know what it's such
an awful thing because all
the hunters have much more of a privilege than to shoot them because that's the
only reason we're killing
the wolves and it's awful awful sorry you're not with me on that one but yeah
well i i i i think if you love all of animals then the wild animals even the
nearly endangered
animals like the wolves need to be managed they need to be managed because we
don't want them to
eradicate the cattle industry we don't want them killing all the buffalo we don't
want them killing
all of the elk so i think there's room enough in the west or wherever wolves
are that we can manage
everything and everybody lives compatibly yeah i think you're right i just have
a problem with the
helicopters that like yeah well ranchers take it very seriously when they're
chewing they're killing
their cattle because that's that's money out of their pocket so if we keep the
the herd of wolves keep
the wolf pack in balance i'll i'll take them they can just come live in my
backyard and oh boy
yeah what uh what else have you been doing so far this summer um not a whole
lot i've had a lot of
i mean we've been promoting the movie um but i've had a lot of where else did
you go you went to sweden
you in stockholm now i heard the people screaming uh outside the the theater
are people just hounding
you uh all over you screaming at you and bothering you no no i mean at fan
events it's like
why they're there of course but um i we got a chance to walk around a bit in
stockholm it was uh
maybe it's just a different they're not used to seeing people you know who are
known whatever or
maybe maybe they just have a different mentality but they i was totally able to
walk around i bought
like a plastic viking hat and took really lame pictures on like statues i was a
full-on tourist it
was amazing cool cool well they're they're swedes yeah they don't know any
better um let's uh let's look
at a uh a clip here do we have a clip of this you guys definitely have a clip
okay what will it be
um it's it's right at the point where the the wolves are are being able to to
hang out with the
vampires and protect bella and it's not the easiest thing for edward to deal
with it so they're
they're wolves in the movie so is it wolves are werewolves but they're not werewolves
but
they are befriend vampires yes they coexist with vampires in this one they try
to yes wow yeah oh so i bet the
sparks fly oh yeah oh yeah you better believe the sparks fly damn straight all
right so here let's
take a look at this movie it's going to be a huge it opens on wednesday the twilight
saga eclipse take
a look what was that now the one guy i spotted the vampire right right i don't
know i mean no i spotted
him and he's the guy who's wearing a shirt yes what's the deal on the guy
without the shirt what's
that all about he runs at a very high temperature and uh you know it's just
more convenient but he's he's
comfortable i mean that's the kind of thing that would piss a vampire off edward
is not into that
at all well good luck there you go there she is on the cover of entertainment
magazine very nice
entertainment weekly whatever they call that thing it's the best twilight movie
so far nice to see
you again kristin thank you very much enjoy your summer
