Our next guest has been called the most beautiful woman in the world.
Please welcome the very lovely Victoria's Secret supermodel, Giselle Bundchen.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
What do you want to know?
Yeah, where are you from?
I said Brazil. You're from Brazil.
Okay, I'm from Brazil in this very small little town in Brazil called Horizontina.
I'm sorry, the name of the town is?
It calls Horizontina.
Horizontina.
Yeah, and I was born there.
My family still lives there, and I lived there until I was 14 years old,
and it's just like a countryside.
There's no shopping center.
There's like two schools, one church.
It's like very small, but it's very nice.
So it's out in the country.
Yeah, it's in the country in the middle of nowhere.
And how did you go from being, do you have a big family?
I have five sisters and just girls.
So it's seven women in my house and my father.
Oh, my God.
So my father is the only man.
He's like the powerful man.
How did you go from living there in the country in Brazil
to becoming like a supermodel?
I don't know.
I just kind of like, little by little, I started working,
and one day I just like came to New York,
and, you know, one work here, one work there,
and then after six years working, I just, you know,
became me, I guess.
I don't know.
Well, there you go.
But did someone discover you as a supermodel and say,
oh, my God, let's get this woman modeling and on and on and on?
Did that happen?
Did somebody discover you or sponsor you?
They found me in the shopping center in Sao Paulo
when I went to an excursion with, like, all the girls from my village.
You know, we went to an excursion.
There were 50 girls with a uniform in the shopping center.
And then this guy came and asked me,
do you want to be a mother?
And I say, what is that?
Because I thought models were hookers or something, you know?
And I was like, don't come close to me with that talk,
because I was 14 years old.
I said, I'm going to call my mother.
My mother was there.
My mom went to talk to the guy.
No, you stop talking to my daughter.
But then, you know, after a while,
the kids called my mom and said she should try it.
So I just went there and figured out.
I tried that.
It's cool.
Now, do you have a twin sister?
Is that possible?
Yes, Patti.
Patti is her name?
Yeah, Patti is her nickname, but her name is Patricia.
I see.
Yes.
And is she also a supermodel?
She's a supergirl, but she's not a, you know,
she doesn't do the same job.
She goes to university.
But is she, I would think, are you identical twins?
No, we are for two, no.
She's a little bit smaller, but she's just beautiful.
But she's just, you know, she's into, like,
public relations stuff, so she doesn't really like
taking pictures that much.
But she could be if she really wanted to,
but you say she doesn't like it.
No, she doesn't like it.
But all my sisters are very beautiful,
and they're very, you know, they're adorable.
I love my sisters, so I have nothing bad to say about them.
Now, will they be supermodels in your family as well?
Supermodels in my family?
Yeah, other than yourself.
I don't think I'm a supermodel, really,
let me tell you the truth.
I just like a model that works, and, you know,
I never consider myself a supermodel or anything like that,
first of all.
All right, you leave that to me.
Okay.
Thanks.
Now, are you married?
No.
No marriage.
You have a boyfriend?
I bet you have several boyfriends.
I bet it's just crazy.
The boys are probably...
I thought you were my boyfriend, aren't you?
Oh, stop it.
Are you going to break up with me in, like, national television?
Please, don't do that to me.
Really?
We could, we could...
Don't tell our private affair to anybody.
No, it's very...
Oh, isn't that cute?
Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho.
I have you, so what else do I want, right?
Would you like to strangle me?
Oh, no, it's okay.
I'm with me.
I wanted to survive for a long time because you're really good.
Thank you very much.
Okay.
Uh, uh, and, and, but, uh, you, do you have a...
Other than myself, do you have a boyfriend now?
No, just you.
Just really?
Just you, yeah.
You, you don't want me to have anybody else?
You want me to cheat on you or something?
It's not good.
Let's go on to another topic.
Okay.
Now, uh, how long have you worked for the Victoria's Secret people?
Uh, I just started with them for about, uh, a few months ago when I signed my
contract with
them, and I just, you know, so now it's going to be five years, so...
Now, do you, do you, is there a Victoria?
Is a, no, there is no Victoria.
I don't know where they come that name from, but, you know, it's...
Because, you know, I, in my mind, there is.
Who?
There is a Victoria.
Who is the Victoria?
I don't know.
I thought maybe you would know.
No, maybe we should ask Ed Razor, because maybe he knows, you know?
Where is him?
Who is Victoria?
Ask who?
Ed, he's like the guy.
Ask Ed.
Ed, yeah.
Ed will know, you know, I don't know.
I don't really know Victoria, but...
Oh, God.
Uh, but they have you on the thing here.
Look at this.
This is you.
Wow, look at that.
And you've got this million dollar brassiere there.
Look at that.
Wow, hot diggity.
It's a ruby brino.
It's the red season.
These are...
Now, this is a very valuable piece of underwear here, this thing, isn't it?
Yes.
It's rubies and diamonds, and how much is it?
Well, we have the thing right here, as a matter of fact.
It's $50 million.
Can you believe that?
No.
It's rubies, you know what I'm saying?
$50 million?
$50 million.
Can you believe?
A bra costs $50 million, guys.
So if anybody wants a ruby bra, $50 million in the cash, please.
Wow, look at that.
That's unbelievable.
And is it for sale?
Have they sold any of these?
I think...
I think they just have one, you know, for sale.
But I think they just make one because they're kind of expensive, you know?
Now, you've actually, you've worn this, is that correct?
Yes, I worn this on that shoot, and I'm wearing another time for a store
opening on the 7th,
but, you know...
Is it comfortable to have that thing?
It's pretty heavy, I have to say, no.
But it looks beautiful on it, but it's pretty heavy.
It's kind of...
You have to have some boobs a little bit up, so it doesn't, like...
It doesn't smash them down.
That's something.
That's very nice.
Look at this.
Some of these things are coming off of it, too.
Look at that.
Oh, let's have some.
Does anybody want one?
It's just rubies, you know?
You can sell it and get a car or something.
Now, what, uh, do you have plans for Thanksgiving?
They don't celebrate Thanksgiving necessarily in Brazil, do they?
No, we don't have Thanksgiving in Brazil, but I'm going to spend Thanksgiving
upstate
because it's, like, a nice time to be, like, alone and I can cook.
Like, you know, risk on that a little bit.
Are you a pretty good cook?
You know, I can eat my food.
I don't know about other people.
I can eat what I make because I cook, so it's fine, but, you know...
Well, you know they say what doesn't kill you often makes you stronger.
Exactly. I guess that's, you know, that's, I think, is working for me.
And then, and then what do you have planned after the holidays?
Are you taking the holidays off now?
Well, I'm taking two days off now for Thanksgiving,
and after I'm just working into the, like, middle of December,
and then it's time off for Christmas and New Year's.
Oh, well, that's nice.
So I can see my family, and that's the best time of the year.
Say hello to Patty or Patricia.
Oh, okay, I will.
Tell her I said hi.
All right, I will.
It was a pleasure meeting you.
Nice to meet you, too.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you.
Giselle Bunshin, ladies and gentlemen.
Thank you.
