The category tonight, "Top 10 Signs: You Are Not One of the Most Fascinating
People of 2006."
Excuse me!
You know what this is all about. Earlier tonight, Barbara Walters had her
special,
"The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2006."
Excuse me!
The category tonight, "Top 10 Signs: You Are Not One of the Most Fascinating
People of 2000--
Excuse me!
I'm sorry?
Excuse me.
Where-- oh, yes, yes, sir. I'm sorry. Did I interrupt?
So now you're going to read the top 10 list?
Yes, that's right.
Why 10?
Uh, it's just a nice round number, 10.
Who came up with the topic?
Well, uh, the writers come up with the topic every day.
When?
Well, I don't know why that would matter, but, uh, earlier this afternoon.
Like, two-ish?
Yeah, I don't really know, but, yeah, let's just call it two-ish.
How do you decide on which topic to go with?
Uh, well, we try to-- something in the news or something topical, like tonight,
the Barbara Walters special, and it's "The Fascinating People," and stuff like
that.
Like Apocalypto?
It doesn't happen to be Apocalypto, but, yes, exactly, exactly.
So this one's not about Apocalypto?
No, no, it's not about Apocalypto.
Did you see Apocalypto?
No, I did not-- I did not see it.
Want to see it after the show?
I can't-- I-- uh, thanks, but I'm-- I'm busy.
How will we know when it's over?
The-- the top ten?
When-- when I read the number one, that indicates that it's over.
That'll be the last one, right?
Ten to one, it's over.
Why don't you start with one and read to ten?
Uh, well, it's kind of like a-- a-- a-- a countdown from ten, nine, eight,
seven, and then we finish up on one.
So one comes last?
Yes, that's right.
But one comes before ten.
I-- I know that-- I know that, but we just inverted the--
the order, and we go from ten to one.
That's confusing.
Yeah, well, I'm-- I'm sorry, I'm sorry you find it confusing.
Do you have any-- any other questions, so we'd like to move along here.
Can I sit on your lap?
No.
No, you're not-- no.
Absolutely not.
I'm-- I'm-- I'm sorry.
Are any of these jokes going to make me laugh?
I like to laugh.
I like to laugh.
No, probably not.
I'm sorry.
Probably not.
No, probably not.
Hooked on a feeling?
That's his exit music, that guy.
Yeah.
Carries around his own exit music.
