All right, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to go live now to Madison Square
Garden.
Turn on the thing and say hello to our good friend, Biff Pedersen.
Hey, Biff, how you doing?
Good, Dave, how are you?
Well, it's the second day of the Republican National Convention.
How are things going now?
Dave, I tell you something, the party's really picking up.
The band was up loud a few minutes ago.
And I tell you, you ever been to a party and you felt like you were the only
one there?
Yes.
That's me.
I feel like that every night.
Now, did you stick around for Mayor Giuliani last night?
Oh, for his speech?
Yeah.
No, I watched it at home.
Yeah.
What did you think of his speech?
Was it impressive?
Oh, his speech was very impressive.
But the most impressive speech, the most fun I had was the one, the fight
between McCain and Michael Moore.
Oh, yeah.
That was great.
Yeah.
Now, how did that start exactly?
How did that start?
Uh-huh.
He told him he was some punk filmmaker or something.
Michael Moore just loved it.
Yeah.
And, and...
So, I guess it was a bit of a surprise then, wasn't it?
To who?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I just generally, I thought maybe it was a bit of a surprise.
To me?
No.
I don't know anything about television, but I just have a feeling, and maybe it's
just
me.
I just have a feeling I'm supposed to be on the other side of you, Biff.
Because when I look, I ought to be able to look this way and I'm looking away
from you.
But if I look this way...
All right.
Can we just...
Hang on, Biff.
We're going to try and switch these.
Okay.
Okay.
All right.
That's good.
There.
There you go.
Hey, you may feel dizzy for a couple of seconds.
So, Biff, now, have you, have you been to Madison Square Garden all day today?
I have been here all day.
Yeah.
And what goes on there during the day?
Nothing.
Yeah.
Have you, have you, have you met any more delegates since you've been there?
And, uh-oh.
What happened?
I don't know.
They can rehearse something.
Yeah.
Have you met any delegates since you've been there?
Have I met any delegates?
Yeah.
Yeah, I met a guy, actually, Dave.
You wouldn't believe this.
He was a delegate at the Democratic Convention also in Boston.
Uh-huh.
He was, he actually was.
He was here.
He was here.
Now, is that legal?
Can you be a delegate for both parties?
I don't know.
He said he was 50-50.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, that, that must have come as quite a surprise.
That what?
Never mind.
Um, and, uh, what about lunch?
How was the food there?
Oh, man, the food was better than in Boston.
Yeah.
Where they had only a McDonald's and a Dunkin' Donut.
Uh-huh.
They got a commissary here that had some good tuna fish salad.
Oh, that's good.
Good to hear.
Now, uh, I understand you have some, uh, special videotape, uh, for us again,
as you did last
night?
I do.
Biff?
Biff, are you okay?
Yeah, you know what happened?
I just forgot what we're showing.
Oh, that's all right.
I forgot.
I think, I think this is your one-on-one interview with, uh, Laura Bush.
Dave, Dave.
Yes.
I'm sorry.
You know, I just forgot, Dave.
Honestly, they told me, I'm sorry, I do have a clip with Laura Bush, a one-on-one
interview.
What is, what is the music they're playing now, Biff?
I told you, it's a big party going on.
There's no one here but me.
Yeah.
But can you identify the music they're playing?
Never heard it before.
Yeah.
Just turn, turn around and tell them to knock it off.
Knock it off!
Thank you.
Thank you, Biff.
Now, at least we can hear ourselves think.
Okay, so, Biff, we're going to show now your one-on-one interview with Laura
Bush.
Now, this took place last night?
No, this afternoon.
This afternoon.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, Biff Henderson and the First Lady, Laura Bush.
Watch.
Hey, Laura!
Very nice.
Nice going, Biff.
You, uh, you enjoy yourself and, uh, we'll talk to you tomorrow night about all
the activities
and what's coming up in the future, okay?
Thank you very much.
Thank you, Biff Henderson, ladies and gentlemen.
Did that seem odd to you?
Touch, yeah.
Biff wasn't himself.
Yeah, I know.
So, something has gone wrong.
I, what are the...
I don't know what it is.
We'll find out about it later.
They've brainwashed him.
I think they've caught him and they've brain...
They've entered his mind down there.
They've taken...
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
Oh, my goodness.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
They've taken over Biff Henderson.
