our next guests are here with a very special performance from one of broadway's
most popular
new musicals uh they also have their very own soundtrack cd i have a copy of it
here
ladies and gentlemen please welcome the cast of wicked featuring adina menzel
kill her something has changed within me something is not the same
i'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game
too late for second guessing too late to go back to sleep it's time to trust my
instincts
close my eyes and leave it's time to try defying gravity i think i will try defying
gravity and you
can pull me down i'm through accepting limits cause someone says they're so
some things i cannot change
but until i try i'll never know too long i've been afraid of losing love i
guess i've lost
love it comes at that love it comes at much too high
a cost
i turn on my defying gravity kiss me goodbye i'm defying gravity and you can't
pull me down
and you can't pull me down
unlimited my future is unlimited and i've just had a vision almost like a
prophecy i know
it sounds truly crazy it sounds truly crazy and true the visions hazy but i
swear someday i'll be
flying so
fly
flying so high defying gravity
so if you care to find me
so if you care to find me look to the western sky and someone told me lately
everyone deserves a chance to fly and if i'm flying solo at least i'm flying
free
to those who ground me take a message back from me tell them i am defying
gravity
i'm flying high defying gravity and soon i'll match them in me now
and nobody in all of us no wizard that there is or was is ever gonna bring me
down
look at her she's wicked get her
i know the boys are wicked
so we've got to bring her
ah
the cast of wicked adina mazel

very nice to have you here
we'll be right back everybody
