You know, kids, even though we spent most of yesterday's program talking about
the Super Bowl,
we thought we could still squeeze five more minutes out of it.
And with that in mind, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our own piece
through dramatization players
with a little presentation they call Forward Pass to Freedom.
Kids?
Boy, that Super Bowl was really something.
My favorite team won, and I really cleaned up.
I wish we could have the Super Bowl every day.
Right, Tuffy?
But, Timmy, have you ever thought about how the little boys in Denver feel?
Those saps?
Of course not.
It's their fault if they root for a crummy team.
Oh, Timmy, can't you see?
The Super Bowl represents the kind of destructive competition that's ruining
our society.
We'd all be better off if we learned to cooperate.
Cooperate?
I don't get it.
It's simple, Timmy.
We can start by stopping watching television and stop watching football on
television.
We can violently overthrow the United States government and replace it with a
totalitarian socialist state.
And incidentally, we could do with more explicit sex on network TV.
Huh?
Listen to your father, Timmy, and read these instructive pamphlets we brought
home from the cell meeting.
Hi.
Hi.
Wow.
Late night's David Letterman.
Hi, how are you?
We watch you on TV.
Sure, I'm glad you do.
And Indy car champ Bobby Rahal.
It's good to see you.
Yeah, yeah.
And I'll bet it's good to see this, too, isn't it?
The copy of Pravda you left in your dressing room.
Well, here.
There.
The copy you left right there.
That's not ours.
Well, I'm afraid your message was a little too explicit this time, comrades.
Take him out of here, Bobby.
Oh.
What do you mean, oh, exactly?
I was shocked by that.
Well, Timmy, now do you understand that competition is the very essence of our
American way of life?
Yeah, I guess so.
Uh-huh.
Uh, what's going to happen to me, Mr. Letterman?
Well, Timmy, you'll be made a ward of the state.
Cool.
That's right.
How old are you anyway, Timmy?
26.
Uh-huh.
Uh, what's going to...
What's going to happen to my parents?
Well, Timmy, they'll be taken downtown to a police station and beaten senseless.
What?
No, no, it's just a little joke.
Actually, they'll be spending many long years in prison.
And thanks to Bobby Rahal, they'll be getting there in record time.
Nice working with you again.
Thank you, Dave.
Take care.
All right.
Please do the dramatization players.
Oh, here we are again.
No, you can't lose us that easily, folks.
We won't go away.
We'll do a commercial.
We'll be right back with Avram, Lucy, and Usain, the Romanian strongman.
We'll be right back.
