All right, now, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to say hello to the men and
women of Task Force Eagle stationed in Tuzla, Bosnia.
Turn on the satellite. Here we go.
Thank you very much, folks.
And I believe our good friend Biff Henderson is there. Biff, are you there? Can
you hear me? Can you see me? Do you know what's going on?
Biff Henderson, ladies and gentlemen. Where is Biff? One of our stage managers.
There he is, ladies and gentlemen. He's our old buddy Biff Henderson.
How you doing, Dave?
Biff, can you hear me?
Yes, I can.
How are things there in Tuzla?
Everything here in Tuzla is peaceful and beautiful.
All right, well, don't screw it up.
I don't want to screw anything up. It's about 32 degrees right now.
Biff, do me a favor. Say hello to the folks there in the audience. Tell them
Merry Christmas and tell them thank you, not only for me, but for everybody in
the United States.
Ladies and gentlemen, Merry Christmas.
Happy New Year from everyone in the United States of America.
If you look into that, I'd appreciate it.
Okay.
All right.
He loves Kelly.
Yeah. Now listen, Biff, you're a veteran yourself.
Yes, I am.
Served in what branch of the armed forces?
I served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
You were in Vietnam for 13 months?
13 and a half months.
Yes.
You, my friend, are a hero.
Thank you very much also.
Thank you very much.
Now, if I understand that you have prepared a videotaped tour of the facility
there in Tuzla, is that correct?
That's correct, correct, Dave.
The men and women of Eagle Base allowed me to follow them around for several
days, and we should take a look.
Okay, here we go.
Ladies and gentlemen, Biff Henderson in Tuzla, Bosnia.
Roll it.
When the Pentagon asked a late show if there was anything we could do for the
men and women serving in Bosnia, I jumped at the chance to pay them a visit.
So, how long have you been over here?
Since September the 11th.
So, you missed the whole presidential election, right?
Yeah, we missed the presidential election.
You are one lucky son of a bitch.
We think so, too.
I'll give you $50 if you can spell Hrsa Covina.
Okay, I'll give it a shot.
H-E-R-T
Hrsa Covina is spelled capital H-E-R-E

I visited with General Farrell, the second in command of the Bosnia Mission, to
see if we could do something to boost the troops' morale around the holidays.
Attention!

Uh, Sergeant, tell me, what do we have here?
Uh, what we have behind me is an M1A1 Abrams main battle tank.
And how much does it cost to operate this thing?
Uh, sir, that would be a whole lot of money.
If I promise to only say nice things, can I yell at you like drill sergeants do?
You are a very attractive man!
You hear me, soldier?

I want to be your friend!
You hear me?
Those pants are very flattering on you!
I'll never forget the men and women I met over in Bosnia, or the tremendous job

doing fostering peace.
I wish them all the best this holiday season, and thank them for allowing me to
join in their
