It's MyBestGuest.com. We have Norm MacDonald from a famed Saturday Night Live
appearances and he's here to talk to us about his recent malady that he had. He
was violently ill and we're going to talk to him about it and see if we can get
an idea about what was, you know, his problem and see if we can give it our
best guess about what was alien.
How are you doing today, Norm?
Well, I'm doing good now. I was, as you say, violently ill, doctor. And here is
the question that I have for you. And you can give me your best guess on this.
I had diarrhea and I had very violent vomiting.
Both of them contained large amounts of mucus. And yet I had no mucus in my
nose or in my chest.
Now, when you say it was violent out of both ends?
Yes.
Both ends. It was violent.
Yes.
So you were able to distinguish violence from just maybe calm. I mean, so you
knew that it was a violent expulsion out of your mouth and your ass as far as
what you were doing.
And it was, it was actually mucus.
Yes.
Now you checked both areas. There was both mucus out of both sides.
Yes, because it did not float. It sunk. And I fished it out also.
You know, if, unless it's violent out of both areas, then I, I might take it to
a viral level or a bacterial level that, you know, maybe you ran into contact.
You meet a lot of people, you know, a lot of people walking up to you, taking
pictures after the show.
Well, I met a lot of, well, now that you mention it, the day before I got sick,
I, I met a lot of people at this restaurant where I was eating my regular plate
of mucus.
Well, you know, when mucus is on special, how can you pass it up?
Yeah, it was all you can eat. And it was not only all you can eat, but they
enforced it.
So you couldn't get anything else but the mucus.
No, they enforced the all you can eat. Like I would say, I'm, I'm full. And
they go, you can eat more.
And of course they give you another big bowl of it.
Yeah. And I go, I guess I can.
Yeah, right. Did you take anything with it? Take any aspirin, Tylenol, anything?
I took, um, no, I took nothing. I didn't take anything.
So you didn't do anything.
So you just sat there and just, just wallowed in yourself, pity of puking and
shitting yourself.
Well, I took a, I took a few mucus tablets.
You took, uh, what is it? Mucinex?
Mucinex.
No, no, no, no, no. I took, uh, this was pure mucus.
Organic?
That was organic.
Organic mucus.
Yeah, I'm not an idiot.
All right. Well, uh, we're going to, we're going to go to my best guess that he
probably met somebody
with some kind of fung on their hands and he shook their hands and then you,
you know,
probably put it in your ear or in your mouth and then you got sick.
Well, I did do that.
