good night tom johnson now go read a book
we're back in the flow now that uh that man you heard breathing heavily and in
saying a quote at
the top of the show is anthony jessen like world famous comedian was i
breathing heavily i could hear
you breathing or sigh it seemed almost like you were sighing with annoyance at
my ad reads
was that was iron was that true yeah i could hear it okay maybe maybe i was
maybe i was we're
listen we're back in it uh second episode of the year we're this is we're
getting we're getting a
train rolling a train full of jrvp episodes uh i'm back on the road uh i had my
first weekend last
weekend shook the shook the rust off in boise sacramento and reno a lot of casinos
a lot of
casinos now in 2024 and listen i love the show a casino show i love it i love
any show i'm doing
on this tour but being in a casino i don't like every casino kind of it there's
like a heaviness in
the air there's like a sadness in the air there's a smell food kind of tastes
the same like you're just
not hungry you just kind of you're i'm just sitting in these hotel rooms
reading like a big thick russian
novel just trying to kill time and i'm just doing one show a night so i have
just like time to sit
in my room i'll order room service after the show and just sit in my room and
eat and read read about
brothers read about russian brothers uh so well maybe you need uh i mean
sometimes when i'm going through
those big books excess not true but you could you could mix it up a little here
like sprinkle in some
light reading with that or watch some dumb movies or or whatnot i don't know if
that would help no no
i'm just going straight i'm boring through this fucking novel and i'm listen i'm
loving it i'm
halfway through it's like an 850 page novel uh that i will i will probably
finish it this weekend liz
didn't come with me last week and she's not coming this weekend and then she'll
be back when i go to
texas after that but uh yeah i just want to like sit there and like punish
myself like just like i'm not
do you ever go out like walk around the streets like when i'm in boise yes boise
i'll walk around
in reno in uh outside of sacramento i'm in a casino i can't go anywhere without
security i can't do
anything so i literally just get there like go to my room and then i get people
to bring me things if
i need to like it's just damn you're never you're you're never more famous than
you are in a casino
where you are performing because your picture's up everywhere people are drunk
it's like it's the worst
of the worst so i i really uh i don't love it i'll be doing the a super bowl in
vegas i mean i won't
need security to to leave the room but i am thinking about what that's going to
be like to work for like
six straight days in in vegas and stay in a casino it seems like a long time to
me it is because it's
too long it's good the noise will drive you crazy like everything's gonna drive
you nuts no matter how
good it is 24 hours is enough you know but maybe you'll find i mean and there's
other people that are
taking the pressure off you you know it's not going to be everyone at all eyes
on greg come super bowl
time there's not going to be many eyes at all but i do have emica and walker
are going to come for the
last two nights that's cool go to the game that'll be fun i i know i'll
probably get to vegas as another
point uh before this tour is over but i don't know when it's definitely not
going to be the super
bowl um we had the shows were good this weekend uh having one show nights is is
nice after the
deluge of 2023 um was happy to be doing happy to keep doing them looking
forward to the special
taping in milwaukee everything's everything's pointing toward milwaukee aaron
where's everything
pointing milwaukee that's right towards milwaukee yep that's the correct answer
aaron where's
everything pointing towards milwaukee hey aaron i got an arrow you know where
it's aimed towards
milwaukee that's right what day is the special it is i will be taping it on
what is it here i've got
april 13th saturday april 13th 13th tickets still available come and check it
out it's going to be
uh they're going to be a couple great shows still deciding where it's going
still figuring that out
uh but hopefully i'll have a decision by next week i will let you guys know if
it's going to be
netflix amazon or maybe i'll maybe i'll charge my fans maybe i'll charge
everybody 20 bucks each
to watch it and i'll put it on youtube like a day later how about that how
about how about i get 50
bucks from everybody because it's so edgy we'll see anyway um good weekend
ended badly uh up top uh my
quote good night tom johnson now go read a book i signed off the jessel nick
offensive every night
with good night kids now go read a book i created that tv show with tom johnson
uh he was a friend
of mine uh we wrote together on the roast of david hasselhoff and really got
along i hired him to
create the jessel nick offensive he was the uh head writer um and uh co-creator
executive producer
for both seasons of that show um and he passed away on sunday uh natural causes
at home it was a bummer
uh you know a lot of the jessel nick offensive people have been talking and
figuring out what to do how
to honor him and uh and you know saying good night tom johnson now go read a
book was how i chose to do
that now greg head you want to make a comment about about people in the
entertainment industry
what what are you talking about and how they die no and it's like a thing it's
like a pattern
no it well you just know a lot of people and we're getting older we're getting
old so more and more of
those people are dying and then and then you tell me about them right before we
do the show and then
we talk about it on the show but that's very sad it was a great program just
like offensive is it on
streaming somewhere i believe it's still on paramount plus i believe you can
honor tom johnson by going
uh going to uh paramount plus and watching the jessel nick offensive so uh rest
in peace tom uh best to rosie
and uh you know it was a pleasure working with you um anything else happen to
you this sad yeah
i saw i saw you had some issues with rummy oh yeah on instagram try to take rummy
to the vet
on monday and they were like because last time i took him into the vet they
were like hey he's too
crazy he's too nervous in here it's like you need to medicate him more here's
more medication i was
like great problem solved but it's been a year so i i had to give him
medication and they said give him
four pills two of each medication the night before eight hours before and then
two hours before and i was
like you know if i give him to him eight hours before he's not going to take it
two hours before
i'm just going to go two hours before but this is a very anthony
thing is like you get specific instructions from a doctor or whatever and you're
like no i'm going
to do this yeah it'll be better yeah because it's so hard to get rummy to eat
anything when you're
trying to get him to eat medicine it's so hard that i was like let's just try
to shoot our shot
he's never had these meds before maybe it'll really affect him it'll knock him
out
it did not knock him out he was a uh a mess at the vet and the vet was just
like we can't we can't
look at him they put the little collar on him it said rummy jeselnik they
weighed him 67.3 pounds
he's a good strong dog and uh and they said get the fuck out of here and come
back in a couple weeks
when he's medicated up so i just it was uh you would think having a like a medicated
rummy at home
would be nice like he'd just be like sleeping on you but he's not he's confused
and he's worried
about why he's feeling stoned and just eating a lot so it was a uh not not the
most fun day but it
wasn't a bad day either i told you know miss kim i said listen if he's if he's
kind of being a jerk
at all just pull the plug cancel the appointment and we'll bring him back some
other time when i can
go i couldn't go because i had to watch the steelers get embarrassed uh in
buffalo i wish they had
played the game on sunday i wish they had played in the storm on sunday then we
then we got a
shot but playing it going down 21 nothing almost immediately we're not winning
that game uh i think
a successful season for the steelers all in all that that three game uh losing
streak was a back
breaker for me personally but again winning record playoffs tomlin's coming
back next year i'm i'm
excited for the future of the steelers i hope i i gotta back off kenny pickett
i think it's time
kenny pickett's not the guy uh mason rudolph might be the guy he is not the guy
he's
not the guy he might be a guy he's a guy to have around but he's better than mitch
trubisky
and he's better than kenny pickett uh he's also most famous for you know
getting a helmet
swung at him because he probably his own helmet his own helmet probably used an
n-word has some you
know shaky political takes and just like a very punchable face although all his
teammates seem to
like love the the shit out of mason rudolph so i give him that every
quarterback is a punchable
face that's why they're the quarterback his his seems excellent what do you
think i think that
there's something going on with pickens it seemed like players afterwards were
like we need to have
like uh like nadja harris was like we need accountability in in the locker room
yeah he's
just and he's totally talking about he's a he's just like an immature uh young
receiver these these
things happen yeah you have these blow-ups you think it's all about them uh i'm
gonna but he's
good i'm gonna say i'm gonna say thank you to the steelers for their season
thank you to
everyone uh i enjoyed it it was tough i wish you would be either better next
year or worse
don't be the same it's too hard for me to get through aaron said that was the
first uh nfl game
he watched all season stealers bills you picked uh a boring one uh yeah the two
games a piece on all
three days it's kept me busy uh this is a busy time of year i did something i've
never done before
i think i told you about it it would it happened before our break uh but it's
gonna air this friday
i taped my first ever commercial for little caesar's oh yeah so i'm a pizza
pizza man
i i go around nice you hear that i go around the house they gave me a huge
pizza snuggie i wear it
it's warm um they had some pizza pillows i'm going to try to take them from the
studio haven't done that
yet uh but that's going to air friday so i'm excited on nfl network for people
to see my acting work
uh in the little caesar's ad you know who's you know who's not advertising with
us is little caesar's
so you just gave them free advertising aaron after we finish ta
