J-R-V-P.
Junior Vice President.
Old people, don't watch it because you might die just watching it.
In the new studio.
New studio.
First time coming in here.
Greg and I saw this for the first time 20 minutes ago.
Greg walked in.
Ten minutes ago I came in here.
I'm going to speak for both of us right now and tell me if you want to come in
and do a little cleanup.
Okay.
We hate it.
Okay.
And listen, we were very clear about our thoughts on the last space we were in,
which was the first space we were in.
Actually, the second.
We had the Comedy Central space at Viacom, which we hated.
Yeah.
And was bad.
Well, we had the NFL when we did the Rosenthal and Jeselnik Vanity Project.
J-V-P.
That was good.
That was high quality.
There's a studio in the end color.
Viacom was bad.
The at-home wasn't top notch.
I'm going to go ahead and say.
But it was okay.
And then the old studio we were just in was bad.
And they finally painted it after I complained for a year.
And then Bill Burr said one thing and it was changed immediately.
And so then it was okay.
He's the boss.
Yes.
I mean, that's good.
But when I complain, he should hear about that.
He should hear my complaints.
I'm just talking to what seems to be Aaron.
Tell me if I'm wrong.
Jordy Elner, who's like got earbuds in.
That's who I'm talking to when I complain.
So then we come to this place.
Took a long time to find.
Difficult to find compared to the last place.
No parking lot.
I had to park on the street and then find it.
It's like in between two buildings.
It's a secret door.
It's a Narnia situation.
And then they're like in the email.
It's like, don't worry, Anthony.
There is a doorbell that you ring it and someone will come.
I had to ring it.
How many times, Aaron?
I have no idea.
I'd never heard it.
I rang it twice.
And then Aaron opened the door with like a sleepy look in his eye.
Like he'd been hibernating.
I swear to God, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
He's like, did you ring?
And I was, I'm going to be like, this doesn't work immediately.
And then we get into the room itself.
There's no Wurzel.
We got no Wurzel up yet.
Yet.
She is in the building.
She's in the building.
She's here.
And she's naked.
But she's not up on the wall.
I don't know how the situation is.
There's like, there's shelving around us.
I don't know if they want us to utilize that.
Greg and I are not further away from each other.
It's more of a, like, let's talk about how to save for your retirement kind of
set up in here.
But that's okay.
And what I really don't like is Aaron is not in the room anymore.
Aaron is now outside the room in like a soundproof box.
Yeah.
I need the laughs, Aaron.
Greg's not giving it to me.
Greg doesn't get all the jokes the way that you do.
I will laugh louder.
Laugh into the mic.
I need it.
Okay.
Thank you.
It is disarming to not have Aaron in the room.
I'm not, you know, I can actually see him through maybe a sliver if he moves a
little.
It's fine.
It's fine.
It was a little disoriented.
I don't know.
I'm a little out of it right now, you know, with the season having just ended.
But the image, we have a huge screen now in front of us in a way that I didn't
notice before.
So looking at, I mean, it's beautiful.
You got to check out Anthony's YouTube if you want to see what's going on.
Check out the YouTube.
See the studio that we're complaining about in real time.
And we might change around.
There's four chairs in here.
We just picked two across from each other.
We could switch it up in future episodes.
You're going to want to stay on that YouTube.
You're going to want to subscribe to this.
We could sit next to each other.
I think listening to you, what the problem is, is you're too far away from your
guys.
You know, me and you are farther apart.
It is a meet the press situation now.
I'm like Luke Russert, Tim Russert, one of the Russerts.
And yeah, Aaron is totally out of the room.
You're away from your boys.
What do you think about next week we do one where we sit next to each other and
stare just directly into the camera?
Like heads touching, our ears touching, just staring right at the camera doing
an hour and 15 minute podcast.
I thought you were going to say having me sit on your lap, but that's just
Christmas.
That's just Christmas.
That's Christmas only.
You try to get me every Easter and I go back through the rule book and I
realize it's a Christmas thing.
Yeah, you said your season just ended.
The NFL season is over.
Oh, yeah.
With the Super Bowl.
When did you get back from Vegas?
Around 24 hours ago.
Okay.
So I feel like I'm emptied out.
I'm a husk.
You know, when you're working on something, you're focused on something for so
long and then it's just over.
So I just feel kind of like I'm not quite there.
I also spent six days in Vegas, so that might be the reason.
Look, that's how I do things, Greg, is I'm always going so hard that I'm always
a husk.
I'm always just husk.
But you said that was kind of how you felt, too, when you had your break
between your fall tour
and you had a little Christmas break that those couple weeks were like, I don't
know.
Yeah, I just feel something's over.
It's good.
It's a good thing, but I'm here with you.
How did you feel about the game?
It was a good game.
I mean, the first three quarters were a little slow.
I mean, the first three quarters were amazing.
I was really into the game in the beginning.
It's perfect football.
It couldn't have been scripted better in the beginning.
And then I turned it off like halfway through the fourth quarter and put on
some real football.
Oh, what do you mean real football?
You can stream at NFL.com plus.
You can stream any football game ever.
Yes.
And I went back and I was like, hey, Siri, what's the best football game that's
ever been played?
And do you know, Aaron, do you know what the best football game ever played was?
Was it when Prince did the halftime show?
No.
No.
It was the 99 Pro Bowl.
99 Pro Bowl.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Of course.
99 Pro Bowl, 20 years of aloha.
That's what they were celebrating in the 99 Pro Bowl.
And so I just put that on and watched it.
And I found my hat that we got.
Greg and I, we've talked to the story a million times.
It was like, how did you guys become best friends?
And it was 99 Pro Bowl.
We saved up all our money all semester.
And we went from New Orleans to Honolulu for the Pro Bowl in 99.
And it changed our lives.
It's one of those trips that, yeah, you never forget.
You also think about.
We spent so long saving for it, the donation drives that we did so that we
could get over there.
And then to be there in person, there's just nothing like it.
You could not.
And we had the worst seats in the stadium, but it was still, it was worth every
cup of lemonade we sold.
Worth every one.
I know, I love my hat.
I'm just glad I dusted this off, found it.
Greg, do you still have your sweatshirt?
No, I lost my hat.
It's too bad.
I do remember, like, we remember when we were out at the bar, you know, around
Honolulu.
And we saw Tampa Bay, Bucs safety, John Lynch out.
No, I mean, I remember being like, is that John Lynch?
And you just go, it's got to be.
And it was.
It was.
Yeah, there's another time.
He had a hell of a game.
Yeah, he was good.
Where we saw Edger and James, who's great, hanging out with Olindo Mare, the
Dolphins kicker.
And I was like, wow, you wouldn't expect them to be hanging out.
It was weird to see them friends.
I have to admit, it was weird.
It was like seeing a mascot with a helmet off.
That was, that was, that was tough.
But Edger had a great game, too.
In the Pro Bowl.
They all did.
Yeah.
I mean, everyone, there were no losers at the 99 Pro Bowl.
20 years of Aloha.
So tell me about your week, otherwise.
You're doing like, you're doing press events.
You interviewed Nikki Glaser, you said.
Yes, that's right.
That must have been a thrill.
She, she said I looked familiar.
And I'm almost certain it's from your TikToks.
I'm guessing.
Because I felt like I got, I recognized more in Vegas than I ever have at an
NFL event.
Other than in London, actually, it's a little different.
But anywhere in the U.S., I got recognized more.
And there was a decent amount of like, JRVP, and a decent amount of fans around
the NFL who
actually like, knew what it was.
But there was more than ever of like, hey, I know you.
You look familiar.
And I, and I wanted to say, yeah, I'm the guy on the other side of Anthony's
TikTok.
Yeah.
Because I think that's honestly what it's from.
You're the, you're the TikTok beta.
It's funny, in Vegas, like, different people are famous in Vegas than are in LA.
Like, it's a weird, I remember like, John Mulaney telling me that he went for
Nick Kroll's
bachelor party.
And it's like, Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, all these famous people.
And the most recognized guy by far was Joe Mandy, who'd been like a guest star
on an episode
of Modern Family.
And just everyone recognized, everyone in Vegas watches Modern Family and was
like, oh my God,
I gotta take a picture.
I love Joe Mandy.
But yeah, the rest of the week was great.
I mean, it's a, it's a long time to be in Vegas.
And we're not allowed to gamble.
We work for the NFL.
You know that.
So it's like, what are we really doing here?
Sure.
Yeah.
If you can't gamble, what's the point of, uh, of enjoying the NFL?
I, I did, I put no money on the game.
I had no money on it.
I was rooting for, I guess, just a good game.
You know, I, I, I'm happy with the result.
Uh, but I, I would have been okay with the Niners winning.
I, but no, no real passion either way.
My passion is for the 99 Pro Bowl, 20 years of Aloha.
Uh, I, I did something I've been wanting to do for quite some time this week, a
couple of
days ago.
I deleted my Twitter.
Wow.
I have been, I've been wanting to do it since I think a year ago or something.
You got hacked and you were like, it's been impossible to get my account back.
And I talked to people on my social media team.
Like, yeah, there's no one over there now.
Twitter's, you know, short, like, you know, uh, pulled their team apart so much
that there's
no one to help you if you do get hacked.
And I've been there.
People have been trying to hack me for a while and someone finally got in and
it was so annoying
that I just like got it back and just said, fuck this delete.
And then whoever hacked it, like brought it back and I had to go back and
change the password
again and delete it.
But no more Twitter.
My agents were like, did you de
