clean let's get to the show that's going to include uh what happens after death
prepping to see an anthony
show and the worst friend trip to berlin ever in episode 249 of the jeselnick
and rosenthal
vanity project jrvp junior vice president i want them back i want them back
what do you want back i want them back i went and saw furiosa uh noon on friday
i was pumped
i was fired up to see furiosa aaron have you seen furiosa yet i have not i know
greg has not greg you
you saw um fury road didn't you i have not you never fury road greg's like the
one person that i
would believe has not seen it fury road is the perfect movie the road warrior
is one of my favorite
movies of all time fury road is incredible fury furiosa is great if you're
going in expecting fury
road you might be a little disappointed i enjoyed the movie uh i was watching i
was i went by myself
and every other person in the theater this is imax man's chinese noon friday
was a dude by himself
like sitting every other seat in this theater but uh it's great i thought it
was a a great movie i'm
not surprised it's not doing better than it is i am but uh but i uh i mean it's
it's a prequel
so you kind of know where things are going to end up um and anna taylor joy
says literally 30 words
of dialogue in the movie which is it's almost fun to watch how miserable she
must have been as an
actress making the movie but uh but it is badass i uh i really enjoyed all the
performances i enjoyed
the i enjoyed the hell out of it i hope they make more i love her it was great
i love the queen queen's
game but i uh i was surprised that they didn't do better that like challengers
you know did fucking uh
you know fury road didn't do that well considering how like beloved it is i
mean everyone who saw it
loved it but it didn't do as well as uh some of the things but i thought it was
uh fantastic
i did start fury road on the airplane once wrong place to watch it but i don't
know i guess i just
have a lack of attention span with these things after like five or ten minutes
it's just like oh this
is kind of silly what's going on here it's not silly at all greg fury road is a
very important movie
um it's the loudest movie i've ever seen i i can recognize where i'm i have
shortcomings i have blind
spots that that's one of them but you know what are you going to do i keep
hearing about challengers
people keep recommending it to me i have not seen it yet but uh maybe one day
it seems like a plain
movie challengers to be quite honest um but no furious is cool i would go see
it again uh but i i i i urge
everyone to go see this movie otherwise i did i just show saturday night uh in
uh in san diego at a casino
i just drove down uh with my opener kelly and just like did the show drove
right back that night which
was great then this week i'm going to like quapaw oklahoma to a casino i gotta
leave thursday
morning fly there to the show friday and get back saturday but uh my my plane
my plane trips are kind
of you know i see them teetering off it's a lot of like drives uh for the next
couple months i've got
to fly to canada for a show in july and then fly this weekend but otherwise i'm
driving and uh and
then we just announced in addition to the australian tour dates and the european
tour dates we've
announced the asian tour dates uh coming soon very soon are the indian tour
dates i'm going to india
so i can't even tell you what these dates are go look on my website i believe
the asian dates are
for sale right now greg was talking about we're trying to go to the tokyo show
maybe i will be
back for training camp i assume by then but you i believe it's august 5th come
you know come strong
tokyo show show uh anthony what a great uh comedy town you are and uh yeah emica
is usually there with
the kids at that time so if she has not flown back i think she would love to go
see you there that
would be kind of a just a crazy life experience to go see your friend anthony
in in tokyo maybe uh emmy
who you've met emmy tau who's a big jessel nick and rosenthal vanity project jrvp
listener uh will
come with your vice president there you go thank you sorry yeah we'll be cool
um i'm looking forward
to that more than i am this weekend uh when i do casinos i do not leave the
room i would just be
sitting there and i get in i don't know why it must have been to get a direct
flight over there
i'm getting in at like three o'clock i leave so early in the morning on thursday
get there i think
i have to drive it's like an hour drive hour and a half to the casino and i
just sit in my room from
like 5 p.m until 6 p.m the next night when i go down for soundcheck and do the
show i'm leaving like
1 p.m the next day and there's no room service in the hotel so like the
security is like we'll bring
anthony his food because i truly do not leave a casino when i'm performing what
about uh what about
kelly you guys have been on the road together she's basically opened this whole
tour for you not the
whole thing but more than more shows than not i would guess you know don't what
don't you want to get a
dinner with her or something like that not at a casino like if we're not in a
casino then yes i will
and she can come to my room and i'll have food ordered to us but i don't go
outside i don't mix with
the riffraff when my poster's everywhere it's just it you're never more famous
than you are when you're
performing in a casino because your picture's everywhere and people are drunk
and they're
gambling and they will want to talk to you so i do not leave my room i will
read uh maybe i'll bring
a big thick book and just tear through it this weekend but uh but yeah i'm i'm
uh i enjoy the
casinos i enjoyed the show on on uh on saturday night i had a good time kelly's
parents came to see
her and uh and that was always nice to run into kelly's parents but other than
that i'm just like
i mean how's your relationship right now you and kelly i mean that's a i can't
remember you having an
opener this much this consistent that's not true i've had many openers like an
entire i had three
openers last year i had three openers last year two of them put out specials by
the end of the year
so the one who did not is kelly and i've been taking her on the road but she's
she's great but it's
very professional it's like i'll see you at the show you know enjoy your day
but i'm not i'm not
like the kind of headliner who makes their opener do everything with them there
are a lot of people
who do that but i'm just i'm at the point now where it's not i was doing shows
in la at like the improv
of the comedy store and now it's like not fun to go up in front of 200 people
when i'm used to now
2 000 people you know i'm just like okay i've got this set down i know it i'm
doing the sound edit
tomorrow i'll get to watch it one last time before it's locked and and then we'll
find out which
streaming network it's going to go to maybe just regular cable maybe cbs you
seem very excited
about it though you you said watching it you were very happy very happy
watching it i'm excited for
people to react to it and i'm very excited to not have to tour anymore you know
i i'm i will be
pumped up for the international leg of all of this i'll be excited for the show
this weekend but i am
very much looking forward to sitting down with a blank piece of paper in front
of me
and writing uh the next hour it's it's time you know and every time i tour i do
it so like i'll be
sick of it right around the time i tape it and then i'll like finish it out
internationally put it
out there and then start the next one but i'm i'm in that process but i'm i'm
excited to just write
but you seem a little more relaxed since getting to be at home longer since
announcing that jrvp
is taking a break it's not a breakup listeners we never break up never break in
uh anthony and i have
been going strong for 26 years we don't break up we break out uh it's a long
time 26 years we've
known each other by now so we have one more episode and yeah i did notice some
comments
that yeah it you look like a little more relaxed since so for all the listeners
i guess they're
not listening or watching that just got sick of you um while you were getting
increasingly frustrated
i had one friend that told me that that he just couldn't take it anymore you
were getting too
frustrated i'm surprised more people weren't like we hate this we're not
listening anymore i do not
know what the numbers are i do not know if we're doing better now than we were
in the beginning like
i don't understand um but yeah i'm knowing i have a break is nice if i didn't
have to do this today i
would have been happier today i've been running around doing errands and stuff
so it'll be nice to
have a break i'm assuming that i will just miss it and want to come back but
there's still a chance
that i could just be like you know what i'm gonna let greg fly on his own now
you know i'm gonna i'm
gonna leave the nest forever and me and eric can just hang out he can't i don't
think anthony can quit us
aaron i think we're we're good this is the reverse nadal raphael nadal like
they tried to retire him
at the french open uh where he's won 14 times earlier this week but he told
them like don't give me
a ceremony don't do anything there's you know i don't know maybe i'll change my
mind and he just didn't
want to have you know so this is the reverse nadal which is like i think he has
like a one percent
chance of of coming back you have like a 99 that's what i say although i
shouldn't throw that out
there because you'll just not do it just to prove me wrong we'll see everything
is on the table i love
my friend greg i love my friend aaron that's the first time i've told you i
loved you and oh and i
think uh i assume i will be back but again never having to do this again would
be fine i like the
shoes thank you you're welcome a little silvery asics you won't be able to see
them unless you're
on the patreon but we do have seaweed beautifully framed this week
unfortunately i can no longer
look in aaron's eyes which bothers me i like that last week how was how was
your week it was good
you know it was uh life life is happening out
